The unseasonable weather this midweek makes Friday very unlikely as opening day.
Thursday night brings colder temperatures and it looks possible at this time to begin making snow towards the end of the week.
Ski Brule will open as soon as there is enough snow to open a trail. Based in the current forecast Saturday looks less likely for opening day than Sunday.
