This year it was an extremely late start, thank you, mother nature. However, since we’ve been open, things couldn’t be any better. Everyone is having an amazing time! For those of you who have not checked the snow report or updates, I just want to inform you that we have Otterslide, Log Jam, Bunny, and Gentle Ben open. We are not 100% open, but that has not changed the attitude of everyone here. Those I have spoken with are loving the snow and could not be happier being back on the slopes.
This weekend, we are currently having our race camp. I have to say, everyone involved with the race camp are the friendliest, most kind, excited, and entertaining group of kids and adults that I have met in a while. If you decided against participating in it this year, you should definitely reconsider.
As for an update on the snowmaking, we are continuing to pump snow at every opportunity we have. A lot of people have been asking me about Big Bear and Whitewater. To answer all of you, yes, we are making snow on those runs. I can’t say for certain when they will be open, but we will let you know as soon as they are available.
