Ski Brule Snow Conditions Report: Updated 11/20/23 @1:48pm
Ski Brule will be open for snowsports on Thursday, November 23. Big Bear chairlift will start at 10:00am (delayed opening to move snowmaking off the trail) and operate through 4:00pm. Log Jam will be open on Thursday & Friday for snowsports. Opening of additional terrain is snowmaking dependent. The forecast looks promising but Mother Nature can’t be predicted. The soonest Bunny Trail would be open some time on Saturday and that is 100% snowmaking permitting. Same for Otterslide. It’s the snow crew’s goal to get Otterslide open sometime this weekend but there’s no snow on it now so again, 100% dependant on snowmaking.
If you are planning a trip to Ski Brule, anticipate only having Log Jam open and sharing it with 190 Thanksgiving Race Camp athletes because that is all we can say will be open for sure. REMINDER: the Bunny trail is NOT open and Log Jam is an intermediate trail.
Ski Brule welcomes the Thanksgiving Race Camp for the 32nd year! Thank you Coach Slattery for all you do for the sport! There will be 190 athletes attending this camp and will be training on Log Jam.
Lifts will spinning Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Delayed opening allows for snowmaking as long as possible when temperatures are ideal. Lifts may operate prior to 10:00, but no later than 10:00.
For your safety, guests are not permitted on the snow until we receive an ‘all clear’ from Mountain Ops. There will be grooming and snowmaking equipment being moved, high voltage power and your safety is #1. This includes not putting your gear on the snow until the “all clear”. We appreciate your help on this to keep you safe.
Lift Tickets: Adult & Juniors are $41/day. Kids ages 9 & under are receive a FREE lift ticket. Tickets are available at Lodging, Bear’s Den and Guest Services.
Lessons, SKIwee & Childcare will not be available 11/23-11/26.
Rental Equipment & Tech Services: Available through Guest Services at the main lodge.
Bear’s Den Pro Shop is open Thursday – Sunday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Cafe will open daily at 8:00 am serving breakfast buffet 8-10:00 Thursday through Sunday.
Evening Dining:
Thursday: Thanksgiving Dinner, 5:30-8:00.
Friday: Friday Fish Fry, 5-8:00
Saturday: Homestead BBQ dinner at main lodge.
