Believe it or not the leaves have already started changing around Ski Brule. Cold temperatures at night are making for an early fall season and that always brings a lot of excitement around the resort.  There is something about this time of year that gets winter enthusiasts going a little bonkers.  Winter is close and we can feel it, yet… it is still a few weeks away. None the less if you are like me, you have your skis sitting on the wax bench ready to go! Patience is not my strong suit when it comes to snow.

Fall leads to winter, but we still need to pass time so you may as well enjoy the colors. The Upper Peninsula turns into a huge kaleidoscope each Autumn and the colors are changing every day.  Peak fall color season is typically the last week of September and the first two weeks of October. I am thinking this years peak time will be a little early this year.

Fall brings many people to the area just to see the colors. You will see tours of people driving together to check everything out and many websites give you the best routes to drive. If you are curious about the color changes in Iron County stay tuned to our Ski Brule Facebook page.
