Join us at Ski Brule for our BSA Winter Merit Badge & Family Day! This special winter event combines skiing, snowboarding, Scouting, and family fun for a full day on the mountain.

Open to BSA Scouts in grades 6 through senior year, girls and boys, the program gives Scouts the opportunity to participate in on-snow instruction, complete merit badge requirements, and enjoy a day of skiing or snowboarding. Special packages are also available for family members who want to join them on the slopes.

Scout BSA Package | $58

The Scout package includes:

• Lift ticket
• Ski or snowboard rental
• Lesson
• Merit badge class
• Lunch

Scouts who wish to complete their Merit Badge must remain with their assigned group throughout the day to complete the required instruction and testing. Blue Card testing will take place throughout the day with each group.

Pre-Registration & Prepayment Required

All participants must pre-register and prepay by the registration deadline. Registration is available on the Events page at SkiBrule.com⁠.

Please choose your discipline carefully when registering. Participants cannot switch between skiing and snowboarding on the day of the event. If you register for skiing, you must ski; if you register for snowboarding, you must snowboard.

Any day-of additions may register for skiing only. Snowboarding is not available for day-of additions.

Event Day Schedule

8:00–9:30 AM — Registration at Ski Brule Rental Center
9:30–10:00 AM — Classroom lecture at Rental Center
10:00 AM — On-snow Merit Badge lessons begin
11:30 AM–12:30 PM — Lunch at Brule Lodge Café; includes hot dog, chips & small fountain soda with meal coupon
12:30 PM — Group photo at the top of Bunny Trail
12:30–1:30 PM — Continued lessons
4:00 PM — Blue Card pickup at Rental Center

Blue Card testing will occur throughout the day with your group.
