Yes it’s cold but come Wednesday temperatures will be in the high teens … perfect day with great specials. Wednesday Special is $46 and includes lift ticket, ski rental and lesson. Beginner lesson is at 10:45 and advanced is at 1:15 (meet at the lesson meeting place at top of the Bambi Rope Tow). The Wednesday Special is for ages 10 & up. Ready to give snowboarding a try? Register for the Learn to Snowboard program by calling 800-362-7853 and receive FREE lift ticket, FREE lesson and FREE rental to first time snowboarders ages 10 & up. This weekend brings more great temperatures in the high teens and no wind. The conditions are the best I’ve seen in years. Lots of snow and the cold temperatures has sucked the moisture out of the snow making it champagne powder in the Midwest! Loving it!!! This weekend is Super Bowl Bash at Ski Brule with a Sunday Super Bowl party in the saloon. Saturday night is Homestead BBQ, tubing and sleigh ride followed by family friendly Karaoke at the Brule Saloon. Ready to fly? Acrobag at Ski Brule Saturday and Sunday 12-4:00. $5/jump or $25/session. Need parental/ guardian signature if you are under 18 years of age, helmets are required as is a lift ticket.
I am tired of listening to the world cry out about the Polar Vortex. It’s winter folks. Did we get soft over the last several years when we sat around complaining that it was too warm to ski? We finally have winter. Shouldn’t we be out enjoying it? Instead of hiding inside our homes? Dress right and even a cold day turns into a great day. A few other ski resorts shut down due to temperatures … I just can’t figure that one out. Winter = cold = snow = fun! Ski Brule’s doors are open and we saved a chair for you!
