Stambaugh Elementary Friday Night Ski Program offers local children the opportunity to get outside and learn a sport of a lifetime. The program is for 3rd, 4th & 5th grades and includes a season pass, free rental equipment during the program, $15 equipment rental outside of the program, lessons every session & supervised fun after the lesson. So many local children don’t have the opportunity to learn to ski which is sad since it’s in their backyard. Additionally giving children a reason to be outdoors, moving and away from electronics is so very important. And lets face it, getting children started skiing isn’t always within a home’s budget .. so here’s an opportunity to share the love with kids without financially impacting families.
One of the greatest results of the program is seeing these kids with their family skiing outside of the program .. the same parents that were tearing up the slopes “back in the day” have come back to fun on the snow! Plus the smiles on the children’s faces skiing together outside of the program.
