The best spring skiing is yet to come at Ski Brule!  17 of 17 Trails are open and there is a ton of snow on the slopes.  I’ve been a part of Ski Brule for the past 20 (WOW) seasons and the conditions we have are the best I’ve seen EVER this time of year.  No spring melt off yet.  Yesterday was 45 degrees, sunny and absolutely amazing.  I ducked out in the afternoon to take a few photos (my excuse for not working in the Bear’s Den Pro Shop) and turns.  Lots of happy faces on the ski slopes.  The most commonly asked questions is ‘when are you closing’?  The answer is … June?   Seriously there is so much snow on the slopes that who knows when Ski Brule will close.  The lifts will remain open as long as we are able to provide you with a positive on snow experience.

I had a good chuckle this past weekend.  A guest saw me with Colt on my back and suddenly realized that when I said ‘we added a family member to the Ski Brule family’ in December … I wasn’t referring to a new puppy!

The weather has been ideal to get the little ones on the snow.  Lots of children under the age of 4 learning to ski this past weekend, jumping in the moonbounce and feeding the ducks in the petting zoo.  The upcoming weekend is more of the same PLUS it’s $60 Carload Day on Sunday April 6.  Pay $60 & everyone in your car will receive a lift ticket.

John ‘The Legend’ visited and skied on Sunday at the ripe young age of 93!  Yes, 93 years young and still skiing.  It’s true, snowsports are a lifetime sport.  An inspiration to us all.  This photo represents the “the Legend” – 9 decades of winter fun and “the new Legend” – 9 decades of winter fun to come.
