Our Rental Center offers a large selection of Michigan ski rental equipment, snowboard equipment and winter recreation gear for adults and children. Whether you’re downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or trying something new, you’ll find the equipment you need conveniently located at the Ski Brule Rental Center.
Our experienced Rental Center team will help you select and properly fit your equipment so you can spend less time getting ready and more time enjoying the snow.

Downhill Ski Rentals
Ski Brule offers a large inventory of shaped skis, ski boots and poles for children and adults. Our Rental Center staff will help properly fit your skis and boots based on your size and ability level.
Ski rental equipment includes: Shaped downhill skis, ski boots, ski poles & helmet. Ski boots are available from children’s size 7 through adult size 16, with skis ranging from approximately 70 cm to 180 cm.

Michigan Snowboard Rentals
Ready to snowboard? Ski Brule has a large selection of snowboard rental equipment for beginners through experienced riders. Snowboards range from approximately 80 cm to 163 cm, including wide boards designed to accommodate larger boot sizes. Snowboard boots are available from children’s size 3 through adult size 15.
Not sure whether you ride regular or goofy? No problem! Our Rental Center staff can help determine your stance and get your equipment set up correctly.
Snowboard rental packages include: Snowboard, snowboard boots & helmet.
Our goal is simple: get you properly fitted and ready to ride.
Helmet Rentals
Helmets are included with complete ski and snowboard rental packages.
Helmets may also be rented separately for $10. Ski Brule strongly encourages helmet use while skiing and snowboarding. If you’d like your own helmet, visit the Bear’s Den Pro Shop for helmets, goggles and other ski and snowboard accessories.
Cross-Country Ski Rentals
Experience another side of winter in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula with cross-country skiing at Ski Brule. Glide through peaceful wooded terrain and enjoy a relaxing winter adventure away from the downhill slopes.
Cross-country rental packages include: Cross-country skis, cross-country boots & cross country poles. Cross-country boots are available in adult sizes 5–12.
Whether you have a couple of hours or an entire day, cross-country skiing is a great way to explore Ski Brule and enjoy the beauty of an Upper Peninsula winter.

Fat Tire Bike Rentals
Take your winter adventure onto two wheels with a fat tire bike rental. Fat tire bikes are designed to handle snowy winter terrain and are available for half-day and full-day rentals. Bring your own bike or rent one from Ski Brule and experience another exciting way to explore the mountain.
Snowblade & Snow Skate Rentals
Looking for something different? Sometimes called mini skis, snowblades and snow skates offer a fun alternative to traditional downhill skis. Their shorter length makes them highly maneuverable and a great way to mix up your day on the mountain.
Snowshoe Rentals
Slow things down and experience the quiet beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula on snowshoes. Explore Ski Brule’s wooded, rolling terrain and enjoy the mountain at your own pace. Snowshoe rentals are available at the Rental Center. Simply bring your winter boots. Don’t have suitable winter boots? Ask about renting snowboard boots for your snowshoe adventure.
Switch Equipment During Your Visit
Why choose just one winter activity? Ski Brule makes it easy to experience several snow sports during the same visit. Downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are all available from the same convenient base area. Rental guests may switch between eligible rental equipment for a $10 equipment switching fee per switch.
Start your morning skiing, try snowboarding in the afternoon or trade your skis for snowshoes and explore the woods. It’s your winter day—enjoy it your way!
