Whether you’re stepping onto the snow for the first time or looking to take your skills to the next level, Ski Brule offers Michigan ski lessons and snowboard lessons for all ability levels. Our professional instructors make learning fun, comfortable and rewarding for children, teens and adults.
From learning your first turns to improving technique and building confidence on more challenging terrain, a lesson at Ski Brule can help you get more out of every day on the mountain.
Lessons are available daily at 9:30 AM, 10:45 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:15 PM and 2:30 PM.
Lessons are available in one-hour and three-hour options and can be booked upon arrival at Guest Services. Let the professionals at Ski Brule help make your time on the snow memorable and enjoyable.

Beginner Ski & Snowboard Lessons in Michigan
Your first time on snow can feel a little intimidating. Unfamiliar equipment, bulky clothing and ski or snowboard boots can take some getting used to—but don’t let that stop you from discovering a sport you can enjoy for a lifetime.

Ski Lessons for Children
One of the questions parents ask most often is, “When should I start my child skiing or snowboarding?”
There isn’t one perfect age. When your child is comfortable on their feet, interested in the snow and ready to learn, it may be time for their first lesson.
Children often learn differently with an instructor than they do with Mom or Dad. Ski Brule’s professional instructors provide an encouraging environment where kids can develop confidence, learn new skills and experience the excitement of skiing for themselves.
Before your child’s lesson, our instructional staff recommends letting them become familiar with their equipment indoors. Let them try everything on, walk around in their boots and learn how the buckles and equipment work. The more comfortable the equipment feels before heading outside, the easier it can be to focus on having fun and learning.
Private Children’s Ski Lessons
One-hour private ski lessons are available daily for children of any age. Individual instruction gives children personalized attention while allowing them to progress at a pace that’s comfortable for them.
SKIWee – Ski Lessons for Ages 4–9
SKIWee is a three-hour ski lesson designed especially for children ages 4–9. It’s a great way for young skiers to develop their skills, gain confidence and enjoy their time on the snow with professional instruction.
Improve Your Skiing or Snowboarding Skills
Lessons aren’t just for beginners. Intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders can work with Ski Brule instructors to improve technique, tackle new terrain and take their abilities to the next level.

WYKON Friday Night Ski Program at Ski Brule
Six Friday Nights. One Incredible Winter Experience.
The WYKON Friday Night Ski Program at Ski Brule gives West Iron County students in 3rd through 8th grade the opportunity to learn to ski, spend Friday nights with friends and discover a winter sport they can enjoy for a lifetime.
For just $50, participants receive a Ski Brule season pass, ski rental, ski lessons, games and racing. That’s six Friday nights of skiing—and a whole season of opportunities to enjoy Ski Brule! Advanced Registration Required.
