The Iron County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a “Harvest and Haunt” fall festival on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 2-9 p.m.

It’s a free fun event for families and all ages all day, said Joe Voellinger, chamber executive director, and includes live music, hayrides, chili, cider and donuts, kids’ games and crafts and popcorn and cotton candy.
There will also be a beer tent, food vendors “and more,” said Voellinger.
The festival begins at 2 with live music under way at 2:30.
The Oldenburg Group 5K Chili Run and 2-mile Fun Walk (costumes encouraged) is set for 3 as is the Chili Cook-Off Contest. Prizes for the top three chili winners are $100, $75 and $50. Free chili will be available for festival participants beginning at 3:30.
Live music with IronLand takes to the stage at 4 followed at 4:30 with the costume parade and contest for children, pets and adults (cash prizes).
Trick or Treat from chamber businesses and campsites around the park is set for 5-7.
Live music featuring Scott Kirby and Band from Rhinelander, Wis., begins at 7 with the bonfire at 7.
“Celebrate fall with free fun and help support a great cause, Heart & Soles of 906, providing new shoes to children in need in our area,” said Voellinger.
