Olympic Gold! Can you believe it? I can! I don’t think I’ve ever met someone as determined at Nick to achieve his dream. And he did it!
Nick started working at Ski Brule when he turned 14 and has been a part of our family since. It’s the incredible story of a young boy that had an Olympic dream and he worked hard to make it a reality. Not once, not twice, not three times but four times to the Olympics! And he did it on his own. Driving to events, sleeping in his car, pouring concrete and doing everything he could do to make it. And make it he did! Olympic GOLD! It’s amazing! Nick never moved out of Iron River. Still lives here with his son Landon and extended family. And he plans to continue competing! Which is part of the reason we are having this event for Nick!
