26.27 Scouting America Winter Merit Badge Registration

Join us at Ski Brule for a special winter event combining skiing, snowboarding, Scouting and family fun!

Open to Scouts in grades 6–12, both girls and boys, this program offers on-snow instruction, Merit Badge activities and a full day on the mountain. Special packages are also available for family members who would like to join their Scout on the slopes.

Scout Package | $58

The Scout package includes:

• Lift ticket
• Ski or snowboard rental
• Lesson
• Merit Badge class
• Lunch

Scouts working toward their Winter Sports Merit Badge must remain with their assigned group throughout the program to complete the required instruction and testing. Blue Card testing will take place throughout the day with each group.

Family Member Packages

Bring the whole family and enjoy a day on the slopes at Ski Brule!

$65 Adult/Junior Family Member Package
Includes lift ticket, rental equipment and lunch.

$60 Adult/Junior Family Member Package
Includes lift ticket and lunch.

$32 Kids Age 9 & Under Package
Includes lift ticket, rental equipment and lunch.

Pre-Registration and Prepayment Required

All participants must register and pay in advance by the applicable registration deadline. Registration is available on the Events page at SkiBrule.com.

Please select your skiing or snowboarding discipline carefully during registration. Participants cannot switch disciplines on the day of the event. Those registered for skiing must ski, and those registered for snowboarding must snowboard.

Any day-of additions may register for skiing only. Snowboarding is not available for day-of additions.

Event-Day Schedule

8:00–9:30 AM — Registration at the Ski Brule Rental Center
9:30–10:00 AM — Classroom lecture at the Rental Center
10:00 AM — On-snow Merit Badge lessons begin
11:30 AM–12:30 PM — Lunch at the Brule Lodge Café
12:30 PM — Group photo at the top of Bunny Trail
12:30–1:30 PM — Continued lessons
4:00 PM — Blue Card pickup at the Rental Center

Lunch includes a hot dog, chips and a small fountain soda with a meal coupon.

Blue Card testing will take place throughout the day with each assigned group.
