Wow it’s October 16! It feels like it was just June 16. No complaining here. I’m so excited for the new season and getting on my NEW SKIS and NEW SNOWBOARD! The Bear’s Den is stacked to the ceiling with boxes to unpack and set up the shop. Snowmaking machines are waiting and the crew is anxiously awaiting the arrival of cold weather.
In the meantime, I’m headed to Schaumberg to the Windy City Ski & Snowboard Show. It’s Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I have to say it’s the best consumer winter sports show I’ve ever attended. Zellers Sports in Green Bay and Outdoor Outlet in Appleton are having big sales and ONLY at the sale can you purchase 5 advanced lift tickets and receive 1 more FREE lift ticket that’s valid anytime opening through December 25.
