“Hi Brule! Thank YOU for adding more memories to our skiing adventures!
My husband and I have skied Brule for 37 years, at least! Not a record shattering number I’m sure but it was Ski Brule who helped us teach our three kids HOW to ski and LOVE to ski…and they all still ski to this day!
While they live in Arizona, Idaho and Oregon now, they all have come back “home” to ski where the roots to their continued joy and passion started!…just as we, their parents, have continued to ski where our roots lie…in the UP, especially Brule!
You always had the best staff that helped load our kids safely on a chairlift…and then the perfect runs for them to ski! We could “let them go”, never losing site of them (we could always find them or they find us at the top where ALL the chairs unload!) and knowing they were safe! And the ‘liftees’, who at times had a little treat for them, and most often a little treat at the end of the sidewalk at the end of the day as we’d pack up to head back to Chicago, were top notch!
Next season we look forward to bringing “Gen 3” up to Ski Brule (again not an earth shattering number I’m sure!) and let our grandkids create their young skiing memories…with grandma and grandpa as a bonus!! So while one season ends, another is truly on the horizon!
I’ve always felt that sometimes you have to go home from a place so you can come back, appreciating it even more and have more good times! In that same vein, Ski Brule has to close for the 25-26 season, cementing all those good times in our minds, so we can come back next season to create more great memories! And we WILL see you next season…for certain…three generations at the same time…STILL having great times at Ski Brule and creating more memories and stories to be told…maybe to a future “Gen 4”, at that!!
